At the old house, there was an accessory closet in our bedroom. The bottom 6 shelves were all shoes; mine on one side (or 3/4 side), Landon's hugging the other side. My side of the closet was pretty much Cora & Quinn's favorite thing. Every morning, this is what they'd do. Landon would get frustrated; "Why do you let them do THIS?" Why? Because life is short, and so is the time between when we wake and when we need to leave the house. Pulling out shoes, matching them up, and trying them on is WAY healthier than climbing on a chair, reaching for my curling iron, watching cartoons...
I always figure, there is always going to be SOMETHING to clean up, whether it's my shoes, a bowl of grapes, or a toy. I might as well let it be my shoes; at least it keeps them close.
Plus, they look so stinking cute toddling around in my "ups", as they call them.
