We are totally and completely head-over-heels in love with Cora!
She continues to be a happy and wonderful baby.
A few pics from this month.
I love this second pic of Cora reaching.
Mark tried to tell me he couldn't feed Cora because he didn't know how. I convinced him it wasn't rocket science.
Getting ready to go see Dr. Davis on March 24. She weighed 16 lbs, 11 ounces. Such a big girl!
Wait for it, wait for it...
Where's Cora???? There she is!!!
Again? Anybody? Anybody?
I looked away for just a second, and she had managed to roll her way off of the blanket. It is hard to see in this picture, but that block has a butterfly that hangs off of it by a string. She had the butterfly in her mouth, and had managed to take the block with her across the room. It looked like a little backpack slung over her shoulder.
She has started sleeping on her side or belly. Here, she fell into a nap before I could get her dressed.

Well hello, Uncle Shew!
Matt and his girlfriend Erin came for a visit this weekend.
Given that UK was still part of the March Madness and UT was not, Matt took advantage of the opportunity. Erin had Cora in the living room and Matt was unloading their luggage. Mom sent Landon & I a text saying, "Is Cora in blue?" That is when I realized that Matt & Erin had disappeared upstairs with Cora, and I said to Landon, "I bet she is now."
I was right.
Our little wildcat in her first cheerleading uniform.
I hear that if I just keep letting her eat sand, she'll eventually stop finding it appealing.
So far, she still thinks it is pretty appealing.
We ALL took a long nap with Cora. Fortunately, Cora was napping under a nice shady canopy. Unfortunately, the rest of us were not. We all had on sunscreen, but since it was early in the season, we all made the mistake of not coating ourselves very well. Oops.
Cora was very cuddly when she woke up. She kept pulling her hat strap over into her face and trying to pull it into her mouth.
Cora's first trip into a high chair. Here, at Poe's Tavern. She was so so cool - flirted with everybody!
Uncle Shew brought Cora a kitchen. The song we cannot get out of our head? "MMMmmmm, something sounds yummy. Time to put something in my tummy". On the last night they were here, we loaded Cora into the stroller and walked to Mustard Seed for dinner. We expected her to sleep through dinner, but this late evening nap with Uncle Shew was just enough rest to keep her hopping all through our meal.

Historical Character
When I dressed Cora for church, I wasn't thinking about the afternoon we were about to spend at Middleton Place Plantation Home with Jud & Ginny.
But once we arrived at Middleton, it only took a few minutes for someone to comment that Cora was dressed appropriately for her plantation tour. In costume or not, Cora loved her first experience of grass.
Is this a hint that I need to give my hair a deep conditioning treatment? "Mommy, your hair feels just like the grass!"
That's right. The tour guide over Landon's shoulder was also wearing a bonnet.
The lady in her bright yellow Bob Ironman carriage.
This horse was saying the funniest things!
Jud & Landon were really impressed by the animals... Cora was not.

It was the most relaxing and peaceful day we've had in a while.
Thanks, Jud & Ginny, for taking us with you!
