And, the energy to still be up at 12:30, watching movies and organizing pictures.
Life is good!
Cora turned 3 months old today!
She's doing all of the things that she should be doing at 3 months.
She is holding her head pretty steady, and can sit by herself for a few minutes in her boppy or in her bumpo chair.
Her cooing is starting to have 2 syllables, and she squeals in delight!
WE LOVE HER SQUEALS!
Tonight, we laid in her floor and just listened to her talk to herself while she tried to fall asleep.
She can hold her head up some while on her belly.
And, she has mastered the rattle.
Our dog has not mastered the art of not jumping up on people. Sorry E!
She is able to hold her head up enough to sit for a few minutes.
Cora has never been a fan of her swing. Last month, our friends Dava & Dave had a halloween party. While there, we put Cora in their baby swing. WOW. She seems to love the side-to-side motion, and that there is a globed mirror hanging above her head. Luckily, their baby Ellie outgrew the swing this month, and they loaned it to us until Cora outgrows it, too.
I've tried to avoid things with many bells and whistles, and I've professed that such things are making our babies ADD.
I eat crow.
Because Cora loves this swing, I love it, too.
I walked in and they were both staring at the TV with the same expression. Yep, that's football on TV.
Joann was snuggling her here.
I tried all day to get Cora to smile so I could take some 3 month pictures. Nada. As soon as I pulled out the camera her face would turn perplexed. But as soon as she woke up with Joann, she started flirting with everyone around us.
Cora's thoughts: Ah, that thing on your face, what is that. There, in the middle. Would you mind if I had a taste? Looks like a nipple. Come a little closer - I'd like to taste it. Come on, come here. It has two holes in it - milk come out of that? It'd make me really happy if you'd let me touch it.
Cora's first Christmas tree.
