Pagophobia: Fear of Ice or Frost

I will prepare a drink for guests when they are at my house.
I get popsicles, frozen chicken, and vegetables out of the freezer.
I'll help stock a cooler.
But I won't do it without cringing.

I hate to handle things that are frozen. I am a functioning Pagophobic.

So when I saw that the instructions called for teething rings to go in the freezer, I was flabergasted. Why in the world would I take something out of the FREEZER and give it to my baby as a toy? No way! It'll be refridgerated teething rings for my little Cora!

She isn't teething yet, but she is starting to slobber more and is interested in putting things in her mouth. She definitely likes the cool (NOT frozen) teething ring to slobber all over.

Aunt Jen got Cora this outfit... it is her first Bloomingdales.
But AGAIN the pants are too big and the shirt is too short. She gets that from her daddy.

I didn't move her - she helicoptered this far. we are about to loose our favorite "baby perch" on the cuddle couch. She'll be helicoptering right off of there if we aren't careful.
I keep hearing that Cora hates the bottle, and fusses the whole time she takes it. Today, Landon had me come home from work early because she wasn't interested in the bottle. Then I come home to this! I'm not convinced there is a problem with the bottle - I think that he just missed me :)

Big E (Landon's Cousin Eric, who is our only family here in Charleston; he used to live with us) got Cora a duck robe and some rubber duckies. She's starting to get really interested in the ducks!
