Uncle Jon Jon is back from Afghanistan!
We headed to Florida for a weekend to celebrate his return.
Reese has experience as an older sister, now, and I think she is an expert. She was changing Quinn's diaper!
She was also trying to reign Cora in for a picture... in their matching dresses AND shoes AND bows (thanks, Jen!).
Cora loved having Reese in the car with us.
Reese has always been funny --- now she knows it!
Uncle Mike, baby whisperer
Karson.
With Great-Grandma Lois.
With Uncle Mike. Cora and Reese literally spent the entire day in the pool.
Cora's bedtime is normally 7PM. On Friday night, she was up until after 9. So at this point, as Jen and I were leaving the party with the kids, I thought Cora would definitely fall asleep on the way home. And she did. But as soon as I took her out of her seat, she woke up, saw Reese, and was feeling refreshed and ready to play. She was up until after 10PM!!!
With Grammy & Bopper.
She was so tired on the way home!
She woke up about an hour from our house. That's when we discovered that she knew "Itsy Bitsy Spider". I started singing it thinking I was teaching her something new. Instead, her little fingers pinched together, and she taught ME how to sing it (she really loves to scream "Washed the spider OUT"). It got to the point where Landon and I were singing it over and over and over, and when we'd stop, her face would scrunch up, she'd pinch her fingers together in the air, and she'd soulfully say "Oh Bitseeeeee", getting us to sing it again.
Oh Bitsy!!!
