My friend Bella

Bella and Betsy came for a visit last week. Bella Thomas was born the day that I realized that I was pregnant with Cora... so I like to say that Bella is as old as the thought of Cora in my mind.

Betsy & JT (Bella's parents) have been so good to Landon and I. I was friends with both of them in college, and we had lost touch until we realized that we all lived within running distance of each other. When we stupidly decided to paint our two story living room orange cream one weekend, Betsy & JT came over midway through to assure me that I would not hate the color... and ended up staying until the job was finished (JT even "saved Landon's life" when he almost fell off of a ladder). And, when we bought "Rita", JT and Betsy were the first ones to see her. We were so sad when they moved back to Kentucky...

But we were so happy to get to see them last week!

Bella & Cora were fast friends - I think that these little ladies will have a great time playing together at the beach for years to come.

So Bella leaned forward so that I could get a better shot of her! Too bad her eyes are closed here - she was clearly looking at me with the camera.

Then she decided to just get rid of the toy entirely!
