Hospital Photos

Quinn's hospital pics are here!

Does Quinn look like Cora? We think so. Cora's hospital pics. But they each have their own unique looks, too. We especially see it as Quinn is developing her own personality.

Briggity with Briggity

A few year's back, Grandpa Messal made ponies like this for all of his grandchildren so that each would have these ponies when they had kids. When I was pregnant with Cora, Grandpa Messal gave us our pony. A few minutes later, he sung a song from when he was a kid about a pony named Briggity. Landon and I immediately named our family's pony Briggity.

Cora's gotten big enough to be briggity on ole' Briggity.

In fact, she's constantly briggity.

The baby bassinet is set-up in our room, and Cora is pretty fascinated by it. She isn't tall enough to see into it, and I think that she thinks that there is already a baby in there. When we didn't lift her up to put her in the top, she decided to see what was going on underneath the bassinet. Bunk bed?

Being the big sister has its perks. It will be a LONG time before the baby is allowed out in the rain, but our big bug decided to put on her ladybug rain jacket and venture out in the backyard with Daddy.

Thanks, Godmother!

Cora grew into her Christmas gift from her Godmother, Joy.
She loves it :)

Ah shhh...

Yesterday morning I was carrying Cora when I ran into the bench in our foyer.

I won't say what I said, but it caused Cora to echo "Ah shhh".

Landon is so thankful that this happened to me, not him.

Back to that New Year's Resolution to change my vocabularly...

Cereal and Cuddles

I was hesitant when Landon started letting Cora eat cereal and bananas with him on the couch, but after seeing their cuddle time this morning, I get it.

When Cora gives people bites, she always opens her mouth, like she is coaching them through it.

Daddy acted like he was going to give me a bite, then he stole that puff and put it in his own mouth!
 It was reeally funny.

 Hey, he did it again!
Stop, stop, you are too much!
 Seriously, stop that!

Thanks to Miss Gabby (at daycare), Cora had her first pigtails when we picked her up today.

I'll allow my couch to be covered in bananas if it means these happy cuddles every morning. Someday, I'll miss those little crumbs and banana stains. She is growing up too fast.
