Do I still start with Q?

"Am I 4 now? ... So I'm not 3 anymore? ... Do I still start with Q?"

Quinn's real birthday was a school day. She took purple fish cookies to class to celebrate, her friends made a card and sang, and when we got home, we headed to Parkton to play. We took Quinn's new fingernail polish - it was serious on lindys driveway.

I love this pic of Emily and Elsie June. Emily looks just like her sisters! She's crazy about Elsie June.

We ended the night with hot dogs followed by cupcakes in the treehouse, and Popsicles on the bathtub.

Where did 4 years go? We are so proud of our Quinn with her sweet heart. We are so lucky to be her parents.

Daddy's Palmetto 200

Landon organized 2 teams for the palmetto 200 this year. All from his work. It was a huge success. All the SW team dressed and celebrating.

And it turns out our 3 fit right into the race culture. Afterwards, snacking on cookies and fruit and waiting on the runners.

Fingernail polish as entertainment.

2016 Shellpoint Easter hunt

For some reason I only have pics of Emily and Juliet. These two are quickly becoming best buds.

Cora's art: spring 2016

It's been a while since I updated art. Here's one of Cora's latest. That's our house. With black clouds and rain falling. I'm thankful the second pic is a little sunnier! She loves to make envelopes (often marked mom, dad, or "PRL GRL") and bring them home stuffed with art and cuttings. She also loves to make books. She isn't fully reading yet, but sounding out words fine.

Cora's class did a whole project on the arctic. Cora was assigned the Orca as her animal. The first day, she made a poster with orcas for the hall. I walked in and saw the word right before Cora and immediately got confused. Had Cora misspelled her own name? Is that an early sign of dislexia? It took me a moment on that one. Good memories with these kids.
