Because this is just funny

Emily's first swim

Santa brought Landon a pool membership for January to our summer pool (bubbled for winter).

Emily liked!

The girls got a chance to refresh their skills too. We only went once - the water is always chilly there, which we expected, but there were only a few chairs and no tables and everything was soaked. It was a nice dip though... And the girls had lost only a little ground. Good times!

January Candida

When I try to get a pic of Cora these days, this is often the kind of look I get.

Can you guess what Quinn was doing here?

Landon wasn't home, and both Q and E woke up grumpy. I needed to hold Q, so I asked Cora to cuddle Em. For someone who has begged to hold Emmy so much, you'd think she'd look a bit less bored.

Q wants to cuddle Em every day.

3 sisters. So lucky.

Fairy Wings

A little art project

Em: 5 months young

In Em's 5th month she started consistently rolling over. She also started intentionally grabbing EVERYTHING. She can support herself standing, and she's wearing 12 months clothes consistently. She and I both had a "flu" when she started daycare. Otherwise... Perfectly healthy.

Started daycare January 12.
This was the hardest one to leave. Landon dropped her off the first few days. I just couldn't do it.

We've adjusted.

What was happening here

"You're too little Quinny. You don't know about the world."

Solids for Ems

We introduced solids at about 5 months. I actually started with veggies, only adding cereal when something (like zucchini) is too runny. So far: peas. Butternut squash. Sweet potatoes. Peas. Zucchini. Brown rice cereal.
Em loves 'em all.
