You scream, I scream...

Quinn announced "we're home" when we pulled into Ye Ole Ice Cream Shop this week. I guess I've been craving ice cream?
I

Quinn's first cone.
Superman :)

Yum... Cherry cheesecake ice cream.
With Q I always wanted superman. This time, something different every visit.

Schotty's

Hanging on the porch with a couple of Schotty alumn.
Alli, Ben, Carrie

Fashionista toddlers

This is what they wore to Target yesterday. Cora's princess dress was Reese's... When Reese was 2. Back wouldn't even zip. Quinn accessories with red ladybug rain boots. Cora added about 4 bows plus a headband to each of their heads.

I suggested we change before going to store; Cora responded with such sincerity, "But we look SO beautiful".

Life's too short to argue with that, folks.

Cora grabbed the camera to snap a pic of me. Why not? What AM I doing here?!?

I still have 3 weeks til due date... Can this bump get any bigger?

Friday night I rocked q at bedtime. She leaned back, held out her hand, and said, "I hold baby now".

Tonight when I went in for a second tuck-in, she said, "I want baby tomorrow".

Me too big sister!!!

Annalisa turns 2

Three families...
12 kids with 2 more on the way.
Charleston Carholic School should sponsor these brunches given how much tuition is accounted for around this table!!!

Annalisa at the head of the table.

Kate, Cora, Sean Sullivan, and Mary

Quinn, Anna, Gave, James, Sean (that's his hand. Oops!).

What was going on in this cheesy picture?

These crazy Groebers were trying to convince us to buy a minivan!!!

Not going to happen. Nope. No way.

Look who came for dinner!

The Allison's!
It took these 4 about 4 minutes to be quick friends- especially C, Q, and Anna.

I think this guy loved our house too once he discovered the PS3.

The best part of my visit was getting 3 hrs with this old friend!

We did a selfie and the boys felt left out.

Posing.

Nice one Ryan.

Landon came down from putting kids to bed and announced, "I really like that Jamie and Ryan".

Me too.

Let It Go

Cora's version:

Let it go, Let it go,
Can't hold me back anymore.
Let it go, let it go, tuwn away and slam the door.
I don't care what they're doe-ing to say,
Let the storm rage on.
A cold never bothered me anyway.

Ugh. Writing it down means it will be in my head ALL day, just when it's starting to go away.
When Landon and I landed in Ireland in June (a little kid vacay), Let it Go instrumental version started playing on the plane.

Seriously? Someone turned this into an instrumental version for adults?!?!?!?!
There's a market for that, or were they trying to punish us after a long flight?!?!?!

Keeping up with our social butterflies

April 19, 2014

The day started with the ECDC 2nd Saturday playdate (my PTA role).
Yes, April 19 would have technically been the third Saturday of April - I was notorious for rearranging dates last year.
April's playdate = beach day!

Quinn looked like a character from Fraggle Rock leading a Suzanne Summers workout for this beach day...
This outfit has been pretty standard attire for Quinn to the beach this summer. She knows she looks adorable with that headband on, so she always goes for it when we go to the beach.

We didn't get a group pic, but we did get the cutest pics of Cora & Sona discovering kite-flying. Those little girls made 50 trips up and down the beach pulling that kite behind. I don't know who had more fun - the girls or the parents trying to catch them.

Afterwards, we had Thomas's birthday party at the County Park in North Charleston (I can't remember the name of the park). Straight from the beach to the party, nap en route.

Cora loves rolling down hills.

This was meant to be a family selfie, but we lost Cora.

THEN Sunday a birthday party for one of daddy's colleague's sons, followed by a birthday party for James Groeber (I didn't get a pic from that party).

It was a birthday party kind of week! The girls were a little let-down by Sunday night when they realized all the parties were over and we had to go back to real life :)
