Fall day, beach day

Jamison Kubu invited Cora over for a Saturday playdate over a vacation weekend. The best beach days start with a run through the sprinkler.

By the time we headed outside, my two were so sleepy. Look at these tired eyes.

Cora and Quinn have become best playmates. Here, filling buckets together. 

It was a beach trip when they were both into the same things. I feel so fortunate that they are so close in age. We are starting to feel the benefits. 

It isn't a party if nobody cries.

A bottle phase

We went through a strange late phase, towards Quinn's first birthday, when Cora got addicted to bottles. It was bizarre! We let it roll, knowing that we were about to dispose of all bottles. Cora wanted EVERY drink from a bottle. I don't know what she was drinking here. It may have been pedialyte; we all had the stomach flu in February.

Dress-up

Someday, our house will be tidy. Until then, we'll carry as many purses as we need to get the job done.

What a great memory from the spring! Friday night. No plans for dinner. Picked girls up in a downpour. Straight to Okra Grill. The girls loved the giant rocker.
