From Happy Birthday, Little Pookie (one of our favorites):
"Here's to a child who is joyful and clever. Happy day, happy year, happy always and ever."
We are so lucky to have so many friends that love us back.
We are very spoiled people... and our two little munchkins are most spoiled of all!
Baby Annalisa
Bailey? Or Ariana?
Mackenzie
Anna
Aunt Feather with Quinn
And Grammy
Keegan
I tried getting a pic of all of the kids together.
Mackenzie sat like such a big girl!
James was uninterested. Alex was ready for the pic.
We gave up.
Brady from Miss Aimee's is one of Cora's favorites.
Zoey, our neighbor, and the bringer of the hand-me-downs.
Thomas & Charlie
Gabe & Anna
From A Dad's Life rap: "It's the dad life, it's the dad life, Take my daughty to the party (or potty) it's the dad life"
Uhoh!
Quinny's first bite of real food (not cereal). She looks like this was overdue, huh?
Baily? Ariana?
Bedtime? But it's my turn to celebrate!

Aunt Feather Week
It's Aunt Feather season (which happens about 3 times per year). Aunt Feather season is much like Christmas season, with daily celebrations and presents. The big difference is probably that Christmas isn't nearly as adventurous as Aunt Feather season...
Cora's look says, "Aunt Feather is in town, so you aren't allowed to be near me, Mom!"
I love this picture. My bug.
And my baby bug! My goodness she is happy. Our happy, healthy, peace-bringing Quinn.
Cora and John on the beach.
Happy. Yep, that sums Aunt Feather week up pretty well.

Another Moment
Mia brought Cora a Sesame Street book, "Don't Slip on a Banana Peel".
One of Grover's safety rules is to play safe at the playground, especially not to walk behind someone who is swinging. Cora was almost asleep when she exclaimed, "I SWING AT PAPAW'S! I KICKED PAPAW WITH MY FEET! WHEEEE! Mia laughed".
Grover has another rule. Always wear your helmet when bicycling... and when being shot out of a cannon. One morning this week, we made a point to swing by the fort on our morning run to see the cannons. Cora was impressed. Quinn napped.
